Every OrganicTan experience begins with a brief consultation. Our goal is to ensure your skin looks naturally sun kissed. Your one-of-a-kind OrganicTan solution is custom-blended for your skin type, tone & preference.

 
 

  • Wear whatever you are comfortable in! Some clients choose to go nude and some wear underwear or a swimsuit during their spray tan. For females - the choice is yours. Men must wear underwear (boxers or shorts). Please note that whatever you wear, you will have tan-lines. Keep this in mind for special occasions like weddings or grad.

  • Before the OrganicTan artist begins applying your spray tan, your palms, feet, lips, cuticles, and elbows will be carefully prepped with organic barrier lotions and oils to prevent any unnatural colouring. Our goal is to ensure your skin looks naturally sun kissed. Here we go! As you are being spray tanned, you’ll be instructed to move into a few easy poses to ensure perfect coverage, following the natural lines and composition of your body. Your custom spray tan experience will last about 15 minutes.

  • We recommend booking your OrganicTan 1-2 days prior to your vacation or 1-3 days prior to your special event (such as wedding or grad, etc.). Your first appointment will take approximately 30 minutes to allow for your colour consult and any questions you may have throughout the appointment. Ensure you complete any waxing, sugaring or shaving at least 1 day prior. And your OrganicTan spray tan should be the last step in your beauty routine: be sure to book your appointment after other beauty services such as lash extensions, mani/pedis, hair wash/colouring appointments, etc. Rest assured we take extra precautions during the appointment to ensure lasting results with your other beauty treatments.

  • 6 hours or more prior to your appointment shower and gently exfoliate your face and body using your SunnaTan exfoliating mitt. If you don't have one, just be sure to use a face cloth or loofah - no fancy scrubs, exfoliants or oils. Oil-based exfoliates or lotions will block the tanning process, leaving a residue between your skin and the tanning solution.Avoid applying lotions/oils to your skin following your shower. Come to your appointment without make-up or lotions - clean skin is best.

We’ve tanned thousands of bodies and know just what it takes to make it perfect – and stay that way!

 

  • We will always begin with a brief colour consultation to establish your personal tan requirements. With over 20 shades to choose from, it’s important that we have a good idea of what your tan is for, your skin type, as well as what activities you plan on engaging in over the next week or so. All these factors play into the proper fade of an airbrush tan.

    Once we’ve established what the perfect shade will be, your airbrush artist will leave the room to custom blend your SunnaTan solution.

  • We’ll ask you to remove any makeup with the makeup wipes we provide, strip down, remove jewelry, put your hair up and put on one our hair nets to protect your hair from overspray. You’ll be asked to step onto our disposable set of foot protectors, and step into the tanning tent.

  • When your airbrush artist returns to the room, she will assess you skin for dry areas. We tone dry areas with our soothing natural toner before we begin.

    We will prep your hands, feet, elbows and knees with a natural barrier oil before we begin.

  • Next, you will be airbrushed with our signature SunnaTan solution, containing soothing and healing anti-oxidants such as green-tea, organic essential oils, herbs and aloe vera. Your airbrush artist will direct you through the simple poses required to achieve the most natural looking, flawless tan.

  • After the airbrushing is finished, we will ask you to step out of the tent, and we will carefully remove oil from your hands, and blend the hands, feet and body to ensure a seamless end result.
